Welcome
The Mandorla Lodge and Retreat Center is located on 9 beautiful acres in the Appalachian Mountains near Jasper, GA, just a short drive north of metro Atlanta. The retreat center is a modern 6,000 square foot lodge that houses several private bedrooms for overnight stays, a large conference room for group meetings and workshops, outdoor facilities for group gatherings and special events, and 9 private acres of trails, streams, and trees to reconnect with nature. The Mandorla Lodge and Retreat Center is open year around but is expected to be heavily booked in the fall and winter seasons when the weather is cool and the color of the mountain foliage is breathtaking. We suggest you make your reservations at least three months in advance to ensure the dates you desire.

Local Attractions
If your group prefers to take an "off campus" visit during your stay, you may visit one of the local attractions:
Kangaroo Conservation Center: The largest kangaroo collection outside Australia, Guided Group Wildlife Tours. Learn about kangaroo biology and husbandry as you view animals in the "Outback".
The Appalachian Trail: a continuous footpath that runs from Katahdin in Maine to Springer Mountain in Georgia, a distance of about 2160 miles.
Amicalola Falls State Park: A Georgia State Park that contains the tallest water falls East of the Mississippi River.
Burt's Pumpkin Farm: Experience fall at Burt's farm by viewing a sea of orange created by thousands of pumpkins.
The Historic Tate House: The Tate House was built in 1926 to showcase the area's locally produced pink marble.
Probably the best attraction is the changing colors of the mountain foliage during the fall season. Thousands visit the area to see this spectacular palette of colors.
